1. Who these terms are with
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the website neysangroup.com and to use of the Excel Solutions Portal (the “Service”) at app.neysangroup.com.
The Service is operated by Excel Financial Solutions Limited (“Excel Solutions”, “we”, “us”), trading as Excel Solutions. The software is developed and maintained by Neysan Group.

2. Website use (neysangroup.com)
You may browse this website for information about our products. You must not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it unlawfully.
3. What the Service is
The Service is an operations management platform for accountancy firms. It helps organise clients, companies, documents, tasks, payments workflows and related practice tools. It may optionally connect to third-party services such as:
- HMRC Making Tax Digital for VAT (per-company Government Gateway authorisation);
- Intuit QuickBooks Online / QuickBooks Online Accountant;
- Companies House;
- GoCardless and Stripe for payments.
The Service does not replace professional judgement, nor does it transfer responsibility for tax filings or payments away from the relevant taxpayer or authorised agent.
4. Licence and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, we grant authorised staff a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for the internal business purposes of the Excel Solutions practice (or another organisation we have expressly authorised), only while their account remains active.
You must not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service;
- sell, sublicense, rent, or publicly redistribute access to the Service;
- use the Service to break the law, or to access data you are not authorised to see;
- attempt to bypass security, authentication, or role restrictions;
- share login credentials;
- automate or scrape HMRC, Intuit, or other provider interfaces in breach of their rules.
5. Accounts and authorisations
Access is personal to authorised staff. Owners/admins may connect third-party products (for example HMRC VAT or QuickBooks) on behalf of the practice or a client company, where properly authorised. You are responsible for activity carried out under your login.
6. HMRC VAT (Making Tax Digital)
Where a company connects HMRC VAT, that connection uses OAuth with the company’s Government Gateway credentials. Tokens are stored on our servers and used only to provide the connected VAT features in the portal. Government Gateway usernames and passwords are not stored by us.
Excel Solutions and Neysan Group do not become the taxpayer. Each company (and any authorised agent acting for that company) remains responsible for accurate VAT information, submissions, and payments to HMRC.
Use of HMRC APIs is also subject to HMRC’s terms of use and fraud-prevention requirements. We may suspend VAT features if required for security or compliance.
7. Client and third-party data
The Service may display or process information about clients and companies of the practice, including data retrieved from connected systems such as HMRC and QuickBooks. You must use that information only for legitimate practice work and in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
8. Third-party services
Features that connect to HMRC, Intuit, GoCardless, Stripe, Companies House, or other providers are also subject to those providers’ own terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or decisions made by those providers.
9. Intellectual property
Site content, branding, the Service, and related materials remain the property of Excel Solutions and/or Neysan Group (or their licensors). These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website and Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features (including integrations) with or without notice where reasonably required for security, compliance, or operations.
11. Disclaimer
The website and Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
12. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 11, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the website or Service. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to £100, or the fees (if any) paid for portal access in that period, whichever is higher.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate portal access if you breach these Terms or if your role in the practice ends. On termination, your licence ends immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimer, and liability) continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere if needed to protect our rights.
15. Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
